§ Editorial standards

The line we won't cross.

Nine rules that govern every review on this site. Public, versioned, and applied without exception.

§ 01

The nine

  1. 01

    Independence vs. funding

We are reader-supported via affiliate commission: when you sign up to a casino through one of our links, the operator pays us a standard CPA fee. That commission is the same regardless of where the operator sits on our register. Operators cannot pay to enter our reviews, move up the rankings, soften a verdict, or buy a 'top pick' label. The two budgets — commercial and editorial — are kept strictly separate.

  2. 02

    Independence of verdict

No casino operator owns equity in this site. No operator has sign-off on a review. No operator sees a verdict before publication.

  3. 03

    Sourcing

Every claim about an operator is sourced from publicly available material: promo pages, full T&Cs documents, the UKGC register, or our own live deposit tests. We name the source on the relevant review.

  4. 04

    Live testing

Where commercially possible, we run a real UK account through deposit, bonus claim, qualifying play, and withdrawal. Our findings come from that — not from operator marketing.

  5. 05

    Review cadence

Every operator on our register is re-reviewed at least quarterly. Any operator whose T&Cs change materially is re-reviewed within seven days.

  6. 06

    Right of reply

Before a less-favourable review goes live, the operator gets seven days to respond. We publish any factual correction they supply, in full.

  7. 07

    Conflicts of interest

Reviewers disclose all gambling-industry employment in their bio. No reviewer holds equity in any operator on the register.

  8. 08

    Plain English

We do not paraphrase T&Cs. We quote them. Anything we don't quote, we describe in plain English with a link to the source.

  9. 09

    Affiliate-link labelling

Every outbound link to a casino operator is marked with an 'Ad' chip and carries the rel="sponsored" attribute, in line with UK CAP guidance and ICO recommendations.
